Public Information

For example, we might use that information to serve you a mobile-friendly version of the website or a translated version of the website.

Personal Information

In order to use our services, you'll need to create an account with us. For that purpose, we require a minimal set of personal information. We need your:

• email address to identify you and password to secure your account
• name and surname in order to make a reservation on your behalf
• phone number in case the boat owner or trip operator must contact you

Cookies and LocalStorage

We don't use cookies. We use LocalStorage to store login-related tokens so you don't have to enter your email address and password for virtually every click on the website.

Information Storage and Protection

The safety of your data is extremely important to us. We're using the latest technologies and best practices to securely store and protect your data. For example, we never store your password as plaintext. We salt it, hash it using modern cryptographic hash functions and we use key stretching with a high iteration count. In practice this means that nobody, including us, can see your password.

Emails

We'll send you emails to notify you about important events related to your account and for security reasons. We won't spam you.

Third Parties

We'll share some of your information with the boat owners and/or trip operators. They require this information in order to make a reservation and/or contact you regarding your reservation.
